OMNICOM GROUP MBA RESIDENCY PROGRAM

The Opportunity
The MBA Residency Program is a 12-month program for candidates seeking a leadership career in marketing communications.
Based in New York candidates will rotate every three months through four operating companies with an emphasis on advertising, media management, digital, and brand strategy. Upon completion of the program candidates will have the opportunity to join one of Omnicom's companies in a permanent role.
Duties and Responsibilities
At each of the companies, candidates will be given responsibilities in client service activities, develop competitive analyses, assist in developing integrated communications strategies and plans for clients, participate in team-building within and across operating companies.
Qualifications
Candidates will have had a minimum of three years post-undergraduate experience in strategic consulting, marketing, communications, sales and related fields, and have a Master's Degree in Business Administration.
They will be adept at team-building, creative thinking, and development of strategic solutions as well as possess executive potential with leadership presence. He /she must be holistic thinkers across the marketing spectrum. There is a strong need for flexibility and the ability to adapt as the environment of the companies participating in the program varies.
Process
Senior Omnicom Executives will recruit candidates at targeted MBA schools during the fall of 2010. High potential candidates will be invited to Omnicom's New York Headquarters for further interviews. The management development candidates selected for the program will begin September, 2011.
