Omnicom Group Inc. (NYSE-OMC) today announced that its net income for the third quarter of 2009 decreased 22.5% to $165.6 million from $213.6 million in the third quarter of 2008. Omnicom's diluted net income per common share in the third quarter of 2009 decreased 22.1% to $0.53 per share from $0.68 per share in the third quarter of 2008.
