OPEN Pride

Open pride

Part of the Omnicom People Engagement Network (OPEN) – an employee resource group committed to inclusion and diversity efforts across Omnicom and its agencies – OPEN Pride leads company-wide efforts to promote awareness, acceptance and advocacy by creating opportunities for leadership, visibility, community involvement, networking and business. We create alliances with other OPEN diversity groups and foster an inclusive and engaging work environment for Omnicom’s LGBT community and its allies.

OPEN Pride will focus on the following four pillars:

  • INCLUSION || We strive to identify and develop LGBT talent and provide workplace equality, awareness, support, advocacy and inclusive policies across the Omnicom network.
  • LEADERSHIP || Through education, training and mentoring, we inspire LGBT employees and allies to be vocal and grow personally and professionally.
  • COMMUNITY || By encouraging employees to pursue philanthropy, outreach, volunteering and hands-on involvement, we provide visibility to the LGBT community.
  • BUSINESS || We seek out opportunities for Omnicom agencies to support and grow LGBT business initiatives through networking and client interactions.

OPEN Pride is represented globally, with Chapters in India, China, The Philippines, Australia and the United Kingdom, along with US cities including NYC, Chicago and St. Louis. The Chapters’ yearly activities include, but are not limited to, participation in Pride Parades, sponsorships of, or participation in/co-hosting of, events with LGBTQ+ organizations like HRC, Stonewall, Out&Equal, NLGJA, Openly with Thompson Reuters and GLAAD and the planning of inter-agency fundraisers and events like educational video series, panels, happy hours, community service trips, training, and global creative challenges.
