PHD Taps Steve Piluso for East Coast Managing Director Spot

NEW YORK, Oct. 14 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- PHD, an Omnicom Media Group company, has named former Mindshare senior executive Steve Piluso as its new East Coast Managing Director, heading the agency's New York, Chicago and Minneapolis offices. Piluso replaces John Swift, who has been named Managing Director, Integrated Investment, for Omnicom Media Group.

With a portfolio of experience that encompasses immersive entertainment marketing, strategic planning and corporate branding for clients such as Unilever, Sprint, American Express and IBM, Piluso has established a track record for delivering creative communications solutions for clients' business challenges. As Managing Director for Mindshare Entertainment, he was involved with break-out branded content campaigns like Breyers' current Smooth & Dreamy vignettes starring 30 Rock's Jane Krakowski; Sprint's "Business on Main" online community and programming platforms for small businesses; and the innovative webisode extensions to Fox's hit series 24 that were available exclusively to American Express cardholders. His earlier agency experience includes a stint as Associate Media Director at Messner, Vetere, Berger, MacNamee, Schmetterer, Euro RSCG, where he worked on the Intel business, and five years at Young and Rubicam/The Media Edge, where he began his career.
