Omnicom Appoints Tim Love Vice Chairman

NEW YORK, Nov 21, 2005 /PRNewswire-FirstCall via COMTEX News Network/ -- Omnicom Group has named Tim Love Vice Chairman, effective December 1, 2005.

In this newly created position, Mr. Love will focus on working with Omnicom companies to create marketing advantages for Omnicom's largest global clients. Omnicom Group President and CEO John Wren said, "Tim's experience developing teamwork and strategic partnerships across geographies and disciplines will be of great value to our clients."

Mr. Love was most recently President of Global Clients for Omnicom's TBWA Worldwide. He was also President/CEO of G1 Worldwide (a joint venture between TBWA and the Hakuhodo agency), where he was responsible for agency client Nissan Motor Company. Formerly based in Tokyo, Mr. Love will relocate to New York.

Before joining TBWA in May 2004, Mr. Love, 56, was Vice Chairman International at Saatchi & Saatchi, where he was relationship manager for the holding company's global Procter & Gamble business. At Saatchi he also supervised the UBS Wealth Management account.

During his 33-year advertising career, in addition to his work with Nissan and P&G, Mr. Love has managed numerous senior client relationships, both in the U.S. and abroad, for Kraft, Duracell, Masterfoods, GeneralMills/Pillsbury, and Glenmore Distilleries.

"I am looking forward to this new opportunity to work with the Omnicom Group companies to find new ways to deliver better ideas faster for our clients," Mr. Love said. "I am also pleased that I will continue to be associated with the many friends I have made at TBWA."

Steven Wilhite, Global Marketing Officer at Nissan Motor Company, said: "Tim's appointment is bittersweet news for Nissan, TBWA, and Hakuhodo. We wish him well and know he'll provide exceptional service for Omnicom and their global clients, but we will miss his tenacity, creativity, and guidance in the development of our global business. He has a special gift for collaboration and building consensus among groups with divergent interests. With Tim, it was all about building great brands and facilitating the creation and deployment of powerful ideas."

Jean-Marie Dru, CEO of TBWA Worldwide, also commented on this appointment: "It has been a real pleasure to have Tim with us during the past 18 months. Tim has achieved a lot in very little time and has had a tremendous impact on our organization."
