Omnicom’s commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion (DE&I) centers on our belief that equity can be achieved through relentless focus, collaboration and desire for a better future. As we continue to build on our DE&I strategy, OPEN 2.0, addressing disability inclusion and accessibility is critical.
In 2021, we expanded OPEN Disability, Omnicom’s global Employee Resource Group (ERG) for the disability community and allies. With our OPEN Disability ERG already in place, we have developed clear, tangible objectives for disability inclusion as part of a new strategy – OPEN Disability 2.0.
At Omnicom, any employee who consider themselves a person with a disability can self-identify as such. We will provide a way for employees to privately disclose their disability and ask for accommodations to help them perform the essential functions of their job. This solution will include a process to review those requests.
Offer and clearly communicate a suite of available software and computer products that enhance accessibility ready for employees to download. A preliminary guide to these tools can be downloaded here.
Provide in-depth disability training across the Omnicom network in order to create more awareness and inspire action at the leadership level.
