Omnicom Group Agencies Distinguished By Top Industry Honors

NEW YORK, Feb. 3, 2012 /PRNewswire via COMTEX/ --Omnicom Group Inc. (NYSE: OMC) agencies were recently recognized with top honors from key industry publications The Gunn Report, Advertising Age, Adweek and Campaign.

BBDO and DDB were recognized as the #1 and #2 Most Awarded Agency Networks in The World for 2011 by The Gunn Report, an annual compilation of winners' lists from the most important advertising industry award shows. BBDO claims the number one position for a record-setting sixth consecutive year. Since The Gunn Report's creation in 1999, Omnicom networks have won an unprecedented 30 of the 39 first, second and third place spots on the Most Awarded Agency Networks list.

BBDO Worldwide and Alma were named to Advertising Age's Agency A-List in the no. 3 and no. 6 spots, respectively. The A-List honors agencies that have led the industry through demonstrable client results, innovation and performance in their own businesses. This year's list was published on January 23rd.
