Wolff Olins Welcomes Tim Allen into Newly Created Role of President of North America

Former Head of Amazon’s Product Design Studio to Spearhead Growth in the US

Global creative consultancy Wolff Olins announced today it is bringing in award-winning creative director Tim Allen into a newly-created role of President of North America to oversee growth in its New York and San Francisco offices.

Allen will bring his eighteen plus years of expertise and roots in product and service design and strategy to work with some of the world’s most ambitious leaders and clients to deliver deep and impactful change across their organizations. Allen’s celebrated background in human- centric experiences, brand storytelling and ground-breaking technology will be at the forefront of leading the US offices to continue delivering radical change across companies and industries. Allen will be based in the NY office concentrating on the US and collaborating on client work with the London and Dubai offices.

Allen previously served as Executive Creative Director for Amazon’s Product Design Studios where he led a team of world class technologists and designers to create human- centered and experience-led digital products and design initiatives. Prior to Amazon, he led Experience Design at both R/GA and Sapient Nitro, amassing a collection of multiple Cannes Lions, D&AD, Andy, One Show and Webby awards for his innovative work including Nike Training Club, Nike’s first iOS app, Nike+ Active, which was highlighted by Steve Jobs at the 2009 Apple Macworld Keynote and Nike+, which Adweek named ‘Campaign of the Decade.’
