Omnicom to Extend No-Call Period for Liquid Yield Option(TM) Notes Due 2031

NEW YORK, Feb. 3 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Omnicom Group Inc. (NYSE: OMC) announced today that it will extend the no-call period on its Liquid Yield Option(TM) Notes due 2031 from the period ending February 7, 2006 to the period ending February 7, 2009 with respect to notes held of record by registered noteholders who have not, as of immediately following the close of business on February 4, 2004, exercised their right to require Omnicom to purchase their notes. Omnicom issued $850 million of these notes in 2001 and, as of today, $847 million of these notes are outstanding.
