Shifting brand perception by inspiring the next generation
In celebration of International Day of the Girl, Team X launched a multiplatform campaign with Mercedes-Benz to shift the automaker’s brand reputation from lofty and aloof to approachable and relatable. The campaign drew upon Mercedes’ founding 100 years ago when the founder named the company after his daughter, signifying the brand’s commitment to the next generation. Team X invited 10 modern female muses, named Mercedes, to share their vision for the future in nearly 50 social posts across Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter and TikTok. The content earned more than 940,000 impressions and more than 25,000 engagements. The paid campaign also performed above benchmarks, achieving more than 28 million total impressions.
